Was it a good idea to remake "We are The World"? The remake "We Are The World 25" is definitely for a noble cause, benefiting Haiti earthquake relief, but Jay-Z felt the 25 year old classic should have been left untouched. Watch the remake and the original videos below and let us know if its thumbs up or thumbs down. Either way, download "We Are The World 25" Now (iTunes $2.99) to show your support.

ReplyDeleteI believe sometimes Classics are best left alone........what can I say??
ReplyDeleteIsn't it kind of a slap in the face to remake We are the World for Haiti and not any other cause? Haiti is special to me, but if I had known someone who died from the tsunami or the chili quake I would feel a little insulted. Not enough deaths for you? Didn't pull at the American heart strings enough? Fuck em, they don't need a song. Jk jk.....
