Breaking News: No additional jail time for Lil Wayne after pleading guilty in AZ court!

Found on TMZ

Lil Wayne finally got some good news -- he won't have to serve any time behind bars in Arizona ... after he finishes his jail stint in New York.
Moments ago, an Arizona judge sentenced the rapper to three years probation for his role in a 2008 drug bust at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint. Under the deal, Wayne pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a dangerous drug.

Wayne -- who appeared in court today through a video link from his NY jail -- will begin his sentence after he's released from Rikers Island ... where he's doing time for a gun charge.

As we previously reported, Border Patrol agents claimed they found a ton of drugs inside the rapper's tour bus -- including weed, coke and ecstasy.

Lloyd clarifies Chris Brown comment after emotional BET performance. "Him crying at the BET Awards was real"

Lloyd took time out to clarify the statement he made in a video interview with Rap-Up.com, where he said, “You gotta cry, you gotta show your heart to the world” when asked about Chris Brown’s emotional performance during his Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards.

“I consider Chris a friend. He's been through a lot in the past couple years. I never told him to go on stage and cry. We spoke recently, and I told him as a friend that people hadn't really seen him be vulnerable about his situation last year [with Rihanna]. I thought he was holding back and needed to let that emotion out. Him crying at the BET Awards was real, I could feel it.” said Lloyd.

He went on to say, “I think he cried about a number of things. About the fact that he thought people would hate him forever because of one mistake. Feeling that love on stage was probably overwhelming. Plus MJ being gone and him performing "Man in the Mirror", that song is powerful, especially for his situation. It pushed him over the edge.”

Responding to the many blogs and fans that took Lloyd’s comments as a negative statement against Chris Brown, Lloyd offered this response, “To say that he was faking or that I'm hating on him, that's some bull shit. Last week Essence.com asked me what artist most embodied MJ. I told them it was Chris. I never saw MJ perform live, but he [Chris Brown] is the closest thing I've witnessed. Chris is back, and I'm just as excited as his fans are. It's just frustrating that people want to make everything negative.”

By GREG BEACHAM (AP)
LOS ANGELES — Purple and gold confetti raining down upon him, Kobe Bryant hopped up on the scorer's table, shook his fists and extended five fingers.

When he hopped down, Boston's legendary Hall of Fame center Bill Russell was waiting to shake his hand.

A Game 7 classic — and this time, it finally went the Lakers' way.

Beating Boston for the first time in a Game 7, the Lakers came up champions again after trailing in the last quarter of the last game of their season.

Kobe Bryant scored 23 points despite 6-of-24 shooting and the Lakers won their 16th NBA championship Thursday night, dramatically rallying from a fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Boston Celtics 83-79 in Game 7 of the NBA finals.
