Crooner Lloyd is in the holiday spirit and he's spreading his positive energy in a new set of visuals for his aptly titled track 'She's All I Want for Christmas.'
In the clip, the Atlanta native takes on the role of a Christmas tree handler, displaying the festive greenery for eager shoppers looking to decorate their home for the holidays. As he tends to his job, Lloyd is struck by the beat and recalls the bouncy energy of the late Michael Jackson as he belts out high notes and shows off some impressive dance moves.
"I always wanted to take a stab at making an original Christmas record," Lloyd tells The BoomBox. "With this video, I think we captured the spirit of love, and the spirit of Christmas in a really cool way."
Now, that's how you do a breakup song: a vulgar soul chorus ("Oh, no/Where did your pussy go?"), a Motown beat and a supersly guest shot from Andre 3000.

Irv Gotti recently lashed out at Lloyd for his actions after he was released from The Inc., but the singer is taking the high road. Speaking with Shade 45’s Sway Calloway (via RR), Lloyd explained that he has no ill will towards his former label boss and that his statements came as a surprise.
“I just want to say I have no problems with nobody, right? I know all his people, real close, from BJ to his sister, family... We all pretty cool,” he said. “So that’s definitely one man’s opinion about the situation and I’m just thankful that his opinions don’t dictate my future, that his attitude doesn’t really affect my life, or his problems don’t affect my life.”
He also addressed claims that Gotti made about launching his career, but he maintained that he’s self-made. “I think in the interview he says something about I took him and I helped him out or something, basically put me on. But when I met Irv, I brought him all my music and everything I’ve ever released has all come from me. Irv never produced, he never wrote anything. The only thing he did was release it for me, which was great, and I’m very thankful for it.”
Gotti also said that if Lloyd were to get hit by a car in front of him, he would pay him no mind. “As far as getting hit by a car, I just hope it’s a car full of boobies. A car made of butter so I just slide off,” joked Lloyd.
Lloyd explained that collaborating with Gotti foe 50 Cent was about “personal achievement” and that he wishes nothing but the best for him.
“I just pray that he continues to do the same thing, because he’s a great person, he’s got a lot of great ideas. And he deserves to be happy,” he said. “People say weird shit when they mad. Because of that, I don’t know if it’s a menopause thing or a midlife crisis thing, but I’m definitely not his enemy and he knows that.”

R&B star Lloyd released his much-anticipated new album King Of Hearts on July 5th. We followed the “Cupid” singer as he visited J&R Music in NYC for an in-store performance, where he greeted fans and signed autographs. Check it out!
Lloyd stopped by BET’s ‘106 & Park’ yesterday to promote his newly released album King of Hearts and surprised everyone by revealing his new Guns & Roses head tattoo. Lloyd, already known for his countless tatts, had his latest inked over the weekend while in New Orleans for 4th of July. The massive tatt features two smoking revolvers surrounded by several roses, and covers nearly the entire back and sides of his head. When asked about the meaning behind his new ink, Lloyd had this to say...
"I'm a contrast, i'm a walking contrast. I go from hard to soft. I go from the guns to roses, which is in my tatt, and I like to go from the streets to the sheets. I make street savvy R&B music but I also like to slow it down and be sensual at times."
Lloyd’s new album King of Hearts is available now!
Lloyd crashes the Essence Music Festival as a special guest during Timothy Bloom’s amazing set. The two Zone 4 labelmates shared the stage with Bloom taking to the keys while Lloyd belted out his smash single ‘Lay It Down‘, off his forthcoming album King of Hearts coming July 5. The ladies were rockin and the whole place was on fire when Lloyd came thru and blessed the stage. Check out his awesome performance at Essence!!

LeBron James wasn't the only self-proclaimed "King" mulling over a big decision last year.
After releasing his first three albums through music mogul/former reality star Irv Gotti's record label the Inc. (formerly known as Murda Inc.), R&B singer Lloyd (aka Lloyd Polite Jr.) asked to be released from the label due to creative differences in July 2009. The Atlanta-born singer then spent the rest of the year and the early part of 2010 looking for a new home. Thanks to the success of the 2009 track "Bed Rock" -- a song by Lil Wayne'sYoung Money collective that featured a catchy hook by Lloyd and reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 -- early speculation had Lloyd headed to Young Money's crowded roster.
In March 2010, shortly after Lil Wayne went to jail in New York for weapons possession, Lloyd chose to go in a different direction and signed to super-producer and longtime friend Polow Da Don's label Zone 4, with distribution through Interscope. On July 6, Lloyd will release his fourth album, "King of Hearts," through Zone 4.
Lloyd's "Dedication to My Ex" could be 2011's "Fuck You" – the crazy catchy, joyfully profane, vaguely retro R&B song that sweeps the internet. Over a slinky, organ-splashed groove that could have come from a Raphael Saadiq album (or Frat Rock!), Lloyd bemoans an unfaithful lady while his backup singers unleash an extremely grandma-unfriendly refrain: "I miss that pussy, that pussy, that pussy, that pussy!" Andre 3000's cameo, packed with slick wordplay and delivered in a relaxed, behind-the-beat attack, sounds killer. The end result makes sexual angst sounds like hot fun on a Friday night; credit everyone involved (including producer Polow da Don) that the 200 or so mentions of "pussy" is only one reason among several that "Dedication to My Ex (Miss That)" is notable. Lord knows what they'll do for a "clean" version.
BET Awards Pre-Show Live! RED! Ready! sets it off right LIVE from the BET Awards Red Carpet.
